Melissa Arzave Trujillo

Melissa Arzave Trujillo is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates. A San Diego native, Melissa earned her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University in 2017, graduating with a double major in Criminal Justice and Spanish, along with a minor in Psychology. She also spent a year studying abroad at Swansea University in Wales.

Melissa went on to earn her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2020, where she served as Treasurer of the Women’s Law Caucus. That same year, she passed the California State Bar.

Before joining the firm, Melissa gained valuable experience at some of the nation’s top law firms, including an Am Law 100 firm, where she focused on high-exposure defense matters. Today, she leverages that defense-side insight to advocate effectively for her clients and help them secure the compensation they deserve.
