Legal Answers
4 Questions Answered
Q. HOA entered my unit without consent during repairs. What actions can I take?
A: The first step would be going through the HOA agreement to verify there are no other entry rights beyond the emergencies clause. They might have a general right with a certain notice period. If that is not the case, you could potentially have an argument for trespassing and damages, though the amounts would likely be minimal if things were just left messy rather than actually damaged.
Q. Express Employment won't provide an explanation for not hiring me. What can I do?
A: No company is obligated to hire any individual so unless you can demonstrate there has been clear discrimination due to gender, sexual orientation, race, etc., there is nothing you can do.
Q. Will I regain custody after rights termination or pay child support?
A: Completing the course alone is not enough to answer your question. The court will consider various factors when it comes to custody, like your living situation, ability to care for the child, drug/alcohol use history, etc. And you will likely be required to pay support either way.
