Mary J Edlund
I have over twenty years of experience in practicing law in the counties of Ventura and Los Angeles.
After graduating with honors from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, I attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. While there, I received two Exceptional Achievement Awards in Legal Communication Skills. In addition, I served an externship with the Long Beach City Prosecutors Office. During my last semester I was a full time extern-clerk for Judge Robert Boochever at the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
My legal employment experience began with representing physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions. Next, I practiced in insurance defense involving school districts, cities, construction and products.
From 1997 to present, I have been a sole practitioner representing the interests of injured persons in a variety of situations. My cases have included a wide range of injuries resulting from auto accidents, bicycle accidents, slip and fall, dog bites, product liability and premises liability. My practice has been situated in the city of Camarillo, California for the past ten years. My clients are mainly from the Ventura County area.
