Martins I. Imudia
Center for U.S. Immigration Services
Dr. Martins Imudia – an Attorney at Law, has practiced immigration and nationality law for over 27 years, assisting corporate and individual clients.
Why hire Dr. Martins?
Dr. Martins combines his broad educational experience in business with strong background in immigration law. Most importantly, he himself is an immigrant. He accidentally got into immigration practice due to his personal visa challenges. So, he has the life experience and very eager to support businesses and families achieve their immigration goals.
Dr. Martins had a client who came into the U.S., bought a property worth over US$2.0 million hoping to obtain a green card from the purchase. Unfortunately, he could not use the property to obtain a green card for the client. That is why it is important to speak with an experienced attorney before embarking on such huge investments which most immigrants make due to ill-advice.
In another situation, a client without a degree obtained a self-petition EB-2 NIW green card. Dr. Martins worked closely with the client to develop, brand, produce and introduce a natural product line into the U.S. market.
Dr. Martins’ experience is not limited to business or employment immigration law. An area where he has also made a difference in some clients’ lives is humanitarian visas – U, T and VAWA cases, helping clients who were victims of labor or sex trafficking, and abused spouses.
Dr. Martins graduated in 1995 from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans with an LLM in Admiralty and Maritime Law. He obtained his JD equivalent degree from the prestigious Abo Akademi University in Abo, Finland. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, admitted to the Louisiana State Supreme Court and the Federal District Court – Eastern District of Louisiana since 1997, and a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association – Central Florida Chapter. He obtained DBA in Supply Chain from Walden University and PhD in sustainability from Akamai University.
