Martin Mariano del Mazo
Martin M. del Mazo earned his law degree in 1995 from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. He studied for the Bar Exam with the O.J. Trial in the background. Mr. del Mazo sadly remembers almost nothing about the Statute of Frauds but he does recall vividly a time when he had as much hair as Kato Kaelin. Those days are long gone. After graduation Mr. del Mazo worked as a prosecutor in the Fulton County Solicitor General’s Office. During his career as a prosecutor Mr. del Mazo honed his trial advocacy skills and also developed a keen appreciation for the art of trial advocacy. Mr. del Mazo has been practicing Family Law in Georgia since 1998. A significant portion of Mr. del Mazo’s practice currently focuses on Family Law. These matters often involve both complex legal issues and complicated emotional issues. Mr. del Mazo and his firm have significant experience in litigation related to both the distribution of marital assets, and the protection of a parent’s child custody rights. He has handled both interstate and international adoptions as well as international custody fights. He is experienced in using mediation, arbitration, and collaborative law as alternative methods of dispute resolution in divorce cases. Mr. del Mazo prides himself, not only for having a history of successfully resolving complex legal matters for his clients, but also providing a high level of personal service to each client regardless of the nature or size of the legal matter. Although Mr. del Mazo has achieved a level of success in his professional life, his proudest accomplishment, by far, is the relationship he has with his wife and five children.
