Activities: In May 2003, Marc was appointed by Mayor Bloomberg to be chair of the New York City Loft Board, a division of the Office of the Mayor. The Loft Board is responsible for legalizing (bringing up to standards for residential occupancy) hundreds of formerly commercial buildings in Lower Manhattan now occupied by artists and others seeking affordable living space and studios.

Activities: From 1998 to 2000, Marc was chair of the Commercial Leasing Subcommittee of the New York City Bar Association’s Real Property Law Committee.
