After college, Liisa attended The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. Liisa was on the editorial board for The Review of Litigation. After practicing law in Texas for a few years, Liisa returned to Lansing, Michigan to be near family.

Liisa is now the owner and lead attorney of Speaker Law Firm, PLLC. The Speaker Law Firm opened in 2007 and is an appellate boutique law firm representing clients in the Michigan and federal appellate courts. The firms unique appellate experience and comprehensive understanding of the appellate process offers clients superior written and oral advocacy.
