- Q. I had terrible complications after plastic surgery because of drug interaction.
- A: If the doctor made a mistake in prescribing the drug, you would have a viable lawsuit. The question in all of these cases is what is the scope of the injury? It is hard to find a medical malpractice lawyer unless the damages are significant because of how time consuming these cases are to prepare and take to trial.
- Q. if i was a passenger in a vehicle hit by a drunk driver in the state of GA but I live in MD who should represent me?
- A: If the Georgia defendant has car insurance, you have to start in Georgia because that is where you would have jurisdiction over the defendant. If the at-fault driver does not have insurance and the vehicle is insured in Maryland, you have an uninsured motorist claim in Maryland.
- Q. Is it legal for a Drs office to hold your anti depressant medication hostage until you schedule an appointment
- A: It is hard to know without knowing more facts. But generally doctors do have a right to require the patient to come in before reupping mediation.
