I hired Lance Mixon as a clerk while he was in Law school. I have worked with over 100 law clerks and Lance was Just one of two that i hired after he finished law school.

Lance is a very effective advocate for his clients. He has built an exceptional relationship with both the bench and bar. He receives requests from lawyers around the state for guidance in handling their cases and teaches for The University Of Mississippi in their CLE programs every year for lawyers across the state. Lance thoroughly researches the law so he remains current on all the latest case law and briefs us all as issues arise.

Lance is known as "the walking West Law" in our office. He maintains the highest level of legal knowledge has has literally written briefs on most all the legal issues we use in court. He maintains our inhouse brief bank which increases our trial preparation. Lance is also the lead attorney in updating both our books,Mississippi Dui Law and Practice (Thompson West) and Mississippi Criminal Law Practice Forms (Thompson West)
