Attorney Kristen Curtis focuses her practice on the areas of family law and criminal defense. Kristen handles divorce, dissolution, child custody, child and spousal support, civil protection orders, visitation rights, paternity, adoption, neglect and dependency cases. In the field of criminal defense, her experience includes felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile delinquency charges, traffic charges and DUI cases.
An Ohio native, Kristen graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Kristen is a proud alumna of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate. While she was attending law school at Case Western in Cleveland, Kristen served as an associate editior of the school’s Journal of International Law.
During her law school studies, Kristen served as a legal intern with the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland in their domestic violence and family law division. Kristen also served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Case Western Criminal Justice Clinic where she represented clients with their felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases.
Kristen advocates vigorously for her clients, while maintaining a respectful demeanor and professional integrity. Attorney Curtis is experienced in dealing with difficult situations and strives to create a personal approach to her client's individual needs, concerns and priorities.
