Katherine's fervor lies in leveraging her experience and talents to aid others, a trait instilled in her by her upbringing as the daughter of two dedicated public school teachers in the Dallas area. This early exposure to community service molded her aspiration to pursue a career in family law, shaping the very essence of her professional approach.
In 2012, Katherine attained her juris doctorate with honors from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law. Throughout her tenure there, she excelled as the Symposium Editor of The Oklahoma Law Review, earning recognition with the Gene H. and Jo Ann Sharpe Award for Outstanding Third Year Member of The Oklahoma Law Review. Additionally, her exceptional performance garnered her the Academic Achievement Award in International Law Foundations, along with induction into the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society.
Prior to her legal studies, Katherine graduated magna cum laude from Trinity University in San Antonio in 2009, attaining a Bachelor of Arts in history. Her academic prowess was further acknowledged through her membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Notably, she enriched her educational journey by spending a semester studying abroad in Cork, Ireland.
