Jon counsels clients on federal, state, and international antitrust and competition matters, representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Jon helps clients navigate the FTC and DOJ pre-merger review and merger investigation processes and has managed complex responses to government Second Requests as well as cartel-related Civil Investigative Demands. Jon also counsels clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino Act compliance, joint ventures, information sharing/pre-merger "gun jumping" standards, licensing agreements, the Robinson-Patman Act, and horizontal and vertical restraints of trade. In addition to his antitrust practice, Jon has counseled airports, charter carriers, and major cargo and passenger airlines on Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, and Transportation Security Administration regulatory matters.
