After years in Research and Development, Patents and Licensing Agreements, I learned about Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at law school. While running an ongoing business negotiating and licensing Intellectual Property, I have also been actively pursuing ADR and Mediation in Northern Colorado.

Mediation is a cost and time effective approach to dispute resolution. The role of the mediator is to facilitate a win-win outcome, where the parties create and own the mediated solution. The satisfaction of the mediator lies on seeing synergies result in outcomes where both parties come away with a better deal.
