Determined best corporate entity, developed plan for first opening including lease drafting and review, site selection, employee policies, negotiations with bank, financing, construction and ongoing operations leading to opening of 6 restaurants. Represented commercial clients on verge of bankruptcy and default of loans and leases, reviewing operational structure, daily business practices and current contracts with vendors and suppliers and renegotiated contracts, avoiding bankruptcy and leading to profitable business sale at higher multiples. Negotiated resolution to Union claim of hiring non-union contractors during construction. Successfully eliminated necessity for filing injunctive relief or court intervention saving estimated $50k for client. Managed and litigated employment discrimination claim filed against County Sheriff's Department/County Commissioners, acted as special legal counsel leading to pretrial settlement. Negotiated potential Teacher's Union Strike, as President of the Great Valley School Board. Negotiated with assistance of solicitor a new contract for teachers avoiding a strike which would have major impact on the school district and children's education. Key contributor in developing marketing and distribution documentary entitled "Firepower for Freedom" for the Battleship USS New Jersey BB-62. Negotiated with State of New Jersey regarding licensing, marketing and sales issues and negotiated with angel investors to obtain financing. Successfully negotiated and litigated claims against numerous hospitals and nursing homes in PA, NJ, TX, FL, OH, NC and SC for failure to pay outstanding balances owed to a Healthcare Staffing Company. Represent retail businesses, healthcare staffing companies, food service companies and commercial tenants/landlords regarding leases, daily business management, contracts, legal, operational and budgetary issues, strategic planning and policy development.
