Q. I am paying 850 a month in child support to my childs grandmother with the other non custodial parent can I get a reduct
A: You can change child support anytime there is a 15% variance in income.

You should consult with an attorney and bring the current child support order as well as proof of your current income.

You may also want to consult regarding your visitation/custody arrangements as this is a unique situation
Q. Currently paying child support and my ex wife doesn’t follow along with the PPP
A: If someone’s not sticking to the parenting plan, there are two ways to handle it. One’s pretty straightforward, the other’s a bit more flexible.

First up, contempt of court. If they’re breaking the rules, they could face up to 10 days in jail for each violation.

Second, you might be able to tweak the parenting time. Ignoring court-ordered parenting time is one of the factors considered in child custody cases. But remember, it’s just one of many factors.

As for the tuition issue, it’s so detailed that you’ll need to read the court order to get the full picture.

These are complex matters, so it’s best to consult with attorneys. Bring along the Parenting Plan, your current pay info, and any orders about tuition to your consultation ... Read More
Q. Ive ben legally married for almost 12years,and have a 10yo daughter with him. However I have not ben with him in10
A: You can seek child support from someone you are married to if you're living apart.

It would be better for you for him to file his takes so you can intercept his returns for unpaid support.

If he goes on disability, there should be an additional award for the child with a lump sum and a monthly payment. That usually replaces child support (except in rare cases).

You can get your child support issues taken care of as part of a divorce or as a child support action.
