Waters, et al. v. Numanco LLC, et al. - Successfully led a team of litigators and bankruptcy attorneys representing Numanco in defense of an asbestos products liability and personal injury action alleging that Numanco, a manpower services company, supplied workers to power plants who may have disturbed asbestos causing plaintiffs to be exposed and suffer injuries. The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and transferred to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as part of the MDL asbestos proceedings. Ms. Loiseau developed and implemented a legal strategy based upon the defense that Numanco's predecessor had been sold out of bankruptcy and the current entity retained no liability. After Weil Gotshal filed a motion to dismiss on behalf of Numanco, plaintiffs agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice.

VI/XII Collateral Trust v. Scott, et al. - Ms. Loiseau was the lead litigator heading up a team of over ten attorneys, working closely with the firm's bankruptcy attorneys, to defend against an action in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio alleging breach of contract, fraudulent transfer, constructive trust, unjust enrichment, conspiracy to commit breach of fiduciary duty and aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty and claiming over $450 million in damages. The lawsuit arose out of the bankruptcy of National Century Financial Enterprises ("NCFE") and NCFE's healthcare receivable financing services. In the early stages of this case, Ms. Loiseau argued motions, coordinated the defense of a preliminary injunction motion and a motion for temporary restraining order, and supervised the drafting of a motion to dismiss. Ms. Loiseau developed a legal claims and defenses analysis which was instrumental in creating a very favorable settlement.

United Health Group v. AdvancePCS - Part of a team of litigators who secured a substantial financial settlement for Ovations, a division of UnitedHealth Group. After a preliminary injunction was entered, and AdvancePCS refused to settle the case, Ms. Loiseau was called upon to structure, manage and implement a lengthy and aggressive discovery strategy, which involved nearly fifty depositions across the country, numerous motions hearings and expert discovery, with the goal of putting Ovations, and its co-plaintiff, AARP, in an advantageous settlement posture. Ms. Loiseau took and defended over ten depositions, including the depositions of the principal defense witnesses and argued motions in federal court. After discovery, Ms. Loiseau created a summary judgment strategy and supervised the drafting of briefs which ultimately prompted settlement discussions and remained pending when the parties agreed to submit the dispute to mediation.
