Heidee Prosser Miley

Heidee Prosser is an Associate Immigration Attorney working with the firm at our Indianapolis office. She has been working in immigration law at different leading immigration law firms since 2017 and joined the Law Offices of Vivek Malik in early 2020. She has assisted in all aspects of immigration law, including business, family, asylum, DACA, U-Visas, and removal defense work. She has processed and filed applications, petitions, appeals, and motions with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the United States Department of State (DOS) and the United States Department of Labor (DOL).

Heidee graduated from St. Louis University School of Law where she received a concentration in International and Comparative Law. Throughout law school she assisted with preparing detainees in detention centers throughout Texas for their credible fear interviews and has also volunteered at different DACA and citizenship clinics. In addition, Heidee worked in the Human Rights at Home Litigation Clinic at SLU Law, where she and her fellow student-attorneys assisted clients pro-bono with cases ranging from bankruptcy, to immigration, to human trafficking.

Heidee chose immigration law for her career path because she is passionate about fighting for human rights and saw that the human rights of immigrants in the United States were being and continue to be violated. She understands that the immigration laws in the US are very complex and can be difficult to understand without spending years learning them. She hopes that in her role as an immigration attorney she is able to help clients better understand the law and make the process easier for them.

Heidee was born and raised in Kansas and prior to law school she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
