- Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Ms. Dreger was a partner in the Silicon Valley office of Heller Ehrman LLP, where she headed the life sciences patent prosecution practice. Before that, she headed the biotechnology patent prosecution practice in the San Francisco office of Knobbe Martens Olson Bear LLP. Between 1990 and 1999, Ms. Dreger was a member of the in-house legal department of Genentech, Inc., South San Francisco, CA where she became a Section Patent Counsel heading the efforts to protect inventions arising from the company’s Secreted Protein Discovery Initiative.
