Dawn D. Hallman is the Principal Attorney and founder of Hallman & Associates. As a nationally recognized estate and tax planning attorney, Dawn has over two decades of experience creatively and effectively assisting ultra-high net worth clients. Her practices focuses on wealth transfer tax planning, legacy planning, asset protection and complex estate planning. Dawn has written numerous articles and papers, and is the co-author of the Oklahoma Bar Association's Electronic Form Book on Estate Planning. Dawn Hallman is also a pioneer in Installment Sales Trusts, or Deferred Sales Trusts, a tax strategy used to minimize capital gains tax on the sale of highly appreciated assets or closely held businesses.
American Cancer Society named Dawn Hallman as recipient of the inaugural National Professional Advisor of the Year Award. Dawn is named as Oklahoma Magazine's "Top Attorneys in Oklahoma;" 405 Magazine's "Top Attorney - Wills & Trusts;" and National Advocates "Top 100 Lawyers in Estate Planning." Dawn Hallman holds both an accounting and law degree from the University of Oklahoma. Dawn has been married to Bradley Hallman, Professional Bass Angler, for 24 years; they have four children, ages 7-18. Dawn is currently the Chair for American Cancer Society’s National Gift Planning Advisor Council (NGPAC). Hallman has also served as Vice-Chairman for two community banks in Oklahoma for 9 years, and served as Chairman for the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association. She frequently lectures on topics related to her practice.
