With years of experience in military justice, national security law, and complex litigation, Dave is known for navigating high-stakes legal matters with discretion, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to his clients.
A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and former trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Dave served in both the Civil Division and the National Security Division. Before DOJ, Dave was a leading litigator in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He led the Army’s Complex Litigation Team, prosecuting major criminal cases. As Branch Chief of the General Litigation Section, he supervised litigation teams handling FOIA, Privacy Act, constitutional issues, and high-value contract disputes. His work also includes class actions, major criminal investigations, and training hundreds of lawyers in advanced trial advocacy.
