First-time experience with an attorney and it was very positive I had an excellent experience with Mr. Centeno. My long-separated husband and I had decided to secure an official divorce, and my husband left it in my hands as the partner still residing in New York State. I had never worked with an attorney before. Mr. Centeno was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He and his assistants made everything explicit and easy, answered all my questions, easily navigated the extra logisitics of my husband living abroad, and secured the judgment we needed in very good time. He did exactly what he said he would do for the originally agreed fee, and made a difficult process for me go smoothly and well. Biography

My name is David Centeno and I was born and raised in New York City. Today, I'm proud to serve as a divorce and family lawyer throughout New York State for people like you. I use my experience to help you get through your NY divorce, which can be a very stressful time.

I'm not just a NY divorce lawyer, I'm a NY family man. As a husband and father, I know and appreciate the value of family. I understand what you have at stake and will work hard to protect you and your family through this highly emotional legal process.

After graduating from New York University, I attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, located in New York City. I obtained my Juris Doctorate from Cardozo and was admitted to practice law that same year. I concentrate on a variety of divorce and family law issues, including but not limited to divorce, uncontested divorce, divorce mediation, separation agreements, prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements.
