I maintain a practice that focuses on family law, estate planning, bankruptcy, and general litigation. Additionally, I serve as the Municipal Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Cape Girardeau and practice criminal defense, primarily handling DWI matters, in counties outside of Cape Girardeau. I am admitted to practice in the State of Missouri and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a law degree from the University of Mississippi, where I graduated with cum laude honors and served as an editor on the Mississippi Law Review. Before entering private practice, I was an assistant prosecuting attorney for Cape Girardeau County.
I was born and raised in Portageville, Missouri, and now reside in Cape Girardeau with my wife and daughter. When I am not practicing law, I am an avid waterfowler who also enjoys cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels.
