Carol graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. She is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, and a former Editor of its newsletter, the Scrivener. Carol has received an "AV® Preeminent" rating from Martindale.com and has been named a Super Lawyer (2012 - 2023) Rising Star (2011) in Northern California.
Carol is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association (TEXCOM) and the Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law Advisory Commission to the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. She is the co-author of the book “The Trustee's Legal Companion: A Step-by-Step Guide to Administering a Living Trust.” She frequently speaks about estate planning topics to attorney organizations and parent groups.
Carol lives in Los Gatos with her husband and two amazing children.
