- Carlo’s multi-county practice is dedicated exclusively to family law, where in addition to using traditional litigation methods, he uses the Collaborative process as well as early-stage mediation to fairly and respectfully resolve family law disputes. He also serves as a mediator and arbitrator of family law matters. Carlo has served as President of the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan, Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Council, Chair/co-Chair of its Family Support and Court Rule and Ethics Committees and is currently a member of its ADR/Collaborative Process Committee. He is former President of the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association and member of the Oakland County Bar Association Family Law Committee. He’s served on numerous State Court Administrator Office committees, has lectured and written extensively on various family law matters and appeared before the Supreme Court on issues including ethical protections for clients, support and evidence.
