Brittni Sullivan is an attorney at Burner Prudenti Law‚ P.C. She joined the firm in January 2013 as a legal intern while she was still in law school. After graduating‚ she was invited to join the firm when she was admitted to practice in February 2015.
Brittni received her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Iona College in 2011 where she graduated magna cum laude. She was inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma for excellence in Political Science and was the nominated President during her senior year. She then received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University‚ School of Law in 2014. While attending law school‚ Brittni was the recipient of the Linda Carmody-Roberts Scholarship for her commitment to pursuing a career in the Trust & Estates and Elder Law fields. Additionally‚ Brittni was a PJF fellow for her commitment to community service.
In 2020‚ for the fourth consecutive year‚ Minneapolis-based Law & Politics publishers of Super Lawyers magazines announced that Brittni had been named as a Rising Star Attorney. Super Lawyers‚ published in the New York Times Magazine is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in their respective fields. Each year‚ no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor. In 2018‚ she received the honor of being named an "Outstanding Woman in Law" by Hofstra University School of Law Center for Children Families and the Law and Long Island Business News.
Brittni is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Elder Law section of the Suffolk County Bar and New York State Bar Association Trusts and Estates section. Brittni is licensed to practice in the State of New York. She lives in Port Jefferson Station with her husband, two daughters and two dogs, Buffalo and Peanut.
