Biography

After graduating from the University of San Diego, obtaining my bachelors degree in International Relations and Political Science, I set my sights on law school. I graduated with academic honors from Western State College of Law and was the Witkin Award recipient In Evidence.

I exclusively practice criminal defense and have been with the McDonnell law firm for over 15 years. Our firm has been in existence for over 5 decades. Whether your case is being prosecuted in a state or federal court, we are adept at handling both.

I am currently handling federal cases in 9 different states. Although our office is located in Orange County, we are often handling matters in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties. We handle all types of crimes which include drug crimes, DUI, assaults, thefts, robbery, white collar crime, id theft/fraud, burglary, hit and run, weapons charges, elder abuse and the list goes on.

If you have been arrested and are in need of legal help, please feel free to contact us for a free consultation.

Q. My son was convicted of pimping and pandering. We posted bond Friday it was accepted at San Bernardino he is not out
A: A 1275 hold is what the district attorney can attach to a bond in court as a way of demanding that they demonstrate a legitimate source of funds that will serve as the bond collateral. I would contact a lawyer who can help work with you and the bond company to put together a 1275 hold bond package. The defense attorney can contact the Da’s office and arrange a meeting with the da sometimes prior to the appearance or the day of the appearance to explain the 1275 bond package. In doing so, the da can then agree to lift the 1275 hold provided they are comfortable enough with where the money is coming from to post the bond. This is often seen in narcotics cases as the district attorneys offices do not want funds from narcotic trafficking being used to bail defendants out. ... Read More
