- Brendan's doctoral work at Dartmouth College was performed under the guidance of Patrick Dolph and focused on the generation of the first fruit fly model of prion disease and on the characterization of a neuronal signaling pathway in the fruit fly eye. Brendan was the recipient of an NIH training grant and he has authored papers in Journal of Neuroscience and PLoS Genetics.
