Activities: Mr. Knippa is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Travis County Bar Association, and the Austin Young Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Activities: Mr. Knippa has volunteered for the Austin Independent School District's Adopt-A-School Program, the Houston Independent School District's Big Brother Program, the Austin Area Alzheimer's Association, Junior Achievement of Central Texas and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. His is a former member of the Young Alumni Task Force for the University of Texas Ex-Students' Association, and former member of the Executive Committee of the John Ben Sheppard Leadership Forum. He currently serves as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Seton Forum and currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Ronald McDonald House of Austin. He also serves on the board for the Ronald McDonald House.
