Ann Thompson Bennett

For many years, I worked in the area of finance and computers (for small companies and non-profit organizations) while I worked towards obtaining my BS degree in Criminal Justice, with my ultimate goal to attend law school. In 2000 I stared attending law school full time, attending classes at night and on weekends, all the while continuing to work full time to support my family. I graduated in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2003. I was admitted to practice law in New Hampshire in 2004 and later that same year in Connecticut and Maine. Although I don't practice in Maine and Connecticut today, I continue to keep licenses active. I was a Guardian ad Litem appointed by the NH Courts in more than 150 cases involving parental rights and responsibilities, guardianships, termination of parental rights and relocation. Today, my practice includes a variety of areas of practice but is primarily focused on family issues, including divorce, parental rights and responsibilities, domestic violence issues, termination of parental rights, step-parent adoptions, wills, guardianships, deeds, prenuptial agreements, real property partitions, and other issues related to families
