Great Lawyer I can only say in the first lines of the text, Lawyer Agnes was an Angel, Lawyer Agnes was everything that my husband and I were looking for, to feel safe, confident and very calm when carrying out the immigration process, which At that moment he made me come to the USA, thank you infinitely for the dedication, punctuality and above all the effort that all this took, although I thought it would never happen, it took time but it became a reality, many thanks to the lawyer Agnes for her commitment and for her professionalism, I really came to her because of a great person and I do not hesitate for a single moment in recommending her and that is why I am very grateful to this person, do not hesitate to contact her for these issues, she knows a lot and I have no doubt that if something If she misses it, she will know how to look for the answers, without further ado, thank you very much and may God bless her.

Fast, efficient, fairly priced It was a pleasure working with Agnes Jury. She responded back within a business day and addressed all of my concerns. She worked efficiently and charged for the project with an upfront cost which is much preferred over charging hourly. Her pricing was posted in advance of service beginning and was very reasonable. I would recommend this attorney.

Q. change of Status
A: Hopefully you referenced the I-130 receipt number in the I-485 application or included a copy of the receipt notice with the I-485 application because if you did not, then the application may be in the process of getting rejected.

I would inquire with the lockbox as to the status of the application (SEE: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/2022-06/Tip%20Sheet%20-%20When%20to%20Contact%20a%20USCIS%20Lockbox_0.pdf) or contact a USCIS agent through their online customer service EMMA to inquire if the case is in their system.

Best wishes!
Q. F1 Student Married to US Citizen – Filing Taxes Jointly or Separately?
A: There are some circumstances that allow a married person to file taxes as Head of Household (HOH) but from an immigration perspective it is best to file taxes as "married". Similarly, filing taxes as Married Filing Separately (MFS) can sometimes be beneficial or necessary for tax purposes, depending on your specific circumstances that are appropriate to go over with a CPA or tax attorney. However, for immigration purposes, it may raise a "red flag" causing immigration to inquire more as to why you chose to file "MFS". So, for immiggration purposes, it is best to file as married filing jointly.
Q. Can my lawyer set up a bank account for my mother who is now passed and was an illegal alien? My lawyer can’t find a way
A: You may be able to apply for an Individal Taxpayer's Identification Number (ITIN) for your mom with which you should be able to open a bank account for her in the USA. If that doesn't work, you could try to start a probate case so the Court can determine that those funds do "belong" to you which should allow the entity that is holding the $ to distribute them to you. If that doesn't work, consult with an attorney to see if there is any basis to sue the entity holding the funds for failing/refusing to distribute the funds to you. Good luck!
