Women's Shelter of East Texas

The Women’s Shelter of East Texas, Inc. (DBA Family Crisis Center of East Texas) is a non-profit organization incorporated to enhance the safety of women, children and men by providing crisis intervention and advocacy services to reduce and prevent the occurrence of family violence and sexual assault through education and community awareness.

Our agency provides services that are vital for survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault to establish a safe and secure life free from abuse. Services include 24-hour emergency hotline and emergency shelter, transportation, crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, child advocacy, sexual assault advocacy, advocacy for employment and housing, peer support groups, individual and family counseling, therapy groups, emergency financial assistant, and transitional housing. Other community services include primary prevention and community education.
