Q: I live in CA, I moved out a month ago and my landlord has not sent me my security deposit. How long does it take?
A: In California a landlord has to follow rules and procedure outlined in the state code with respect to returning a security deposit. FindLaw.com has a great section on Landlord/Tenant law that you may want to check out. Thanks.
