About Project Protect, YWCA of Eastern Union County

About this Organization:
YWCA EUC's Project Protect offers a range of services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. Our purpose is to give women the tools they need to survive and recover from the trauma they have experienced using an empowerment model. Residential services include emergency shelter, transitional/supportive housing, counseling, case management and advocacy. Outreach services include counseling for women who live in the community, court advocacy and accompaniment, and Domestic Violence Response Teams. Our Community Education Program educates the lay and professional community about domestic violence and operates the Teen Dating Violence Prevention Program in Union County schools.
