Northeast Legal Aid is a free provider of civil legal assistance for low income residents of Essex County, Massachusetts. Part of a larger national network of legal services providers, NLA helps our area's low income residents with legal problems involving access to housing, access to public assistance, employment rights, discrimination, elder law, domestic violence and family law, and economic development of our area's low income communities.

Client Office visits by appointment only.

In-Person Intake Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9am-4pm (for holidays In-Person Intake Hours are Fridays 9am-4pm). Intake staff are at lunch from 1pm-2pm.

Intake Phone Hours: Monday - Friday: 9am - 1pm.
