About this Organization:
The Legal Aid Society is fully staff, free legal service provider for the indigent in Dade County. Legal Aid was established by 1939 and chartered in 1949. It is the oldest provider of free legal services in Dade County and is has eleven full-time lawyers who handle primarily family matters which involve children.
Notes:
The public is invited to call the Dade County Bar Association at (866) 596-0399 where volunteer attorneys will answer simple legal questions, give brief legal advice or refer the call to an appropriate social service agency for further assistance. LegalLine will be held on the first Wednesday of each month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
