Xinia holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with an emphasis on law and society from the University of California, Riverside. During her undergraduate years, she had the enriching experience of studying abroad in Madrid, Spain, in a full-immersion program. Further demonstrating her dedication, she completed a minor’s counsel training course, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities and duties involved.
Fluent in Spanish, Xinia is an active member of the Riverside County Bar Association and the Leo A. Deegan American Inn of Court. In recognition of her exceptional qualities, she has been honored as a 2023 Rising Star by Super Lawyers. What made you pursue a career in law? I wanted to become a lawyer because I wanted to help people. I feel like I'm contributing to the world when I help people.

What part of family law are you most passionate about? Co-parenting is my niche. I enjoy helping parents better communicate so they can build a healthier, family relationship. Building healthy co-parenting relationships is the best way to ensure their children thrive.
