Tushar has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications for a wide range of technologies including software, electronics, computer networking, missile defense systems, wireless telecommunications, medical imaging, solid oxide fuel cells, and patient monitoring devices. Tushar’s graduate work at MIT included research on intensive care unit patient monitoring, as well as work on automotive engine valve drive systems. At Swarthmore College, he worked on a novel low-power home heating system. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed technical journal and conference papers, and is a co-inventor on a U.S. patent. Patents F. L. Orthlieb, A. N. Houser, T. A. Parlikar, E. A. Cheever (co-holders), U.S. Patent 6,703,083 issued on March 16, 2004 for a Low-Power Home Heating or Cooling System.
