Timothy Caress
Integrity is the commitment to do what is right regardless of the circumstances
I have lived and worked my whole life in Indianapolis, and I am extremely proud to be a Hoosier. I care very deeply about my community and the people that live in it.
I have spent my entire legal career representing individuals who have been injured and families who have lost a loved one, and I purposefully chose this area of law because it affords me the opportunity and the privilege to make a real and meaningful difference in the lives of people from all walks of life. I am deeply fulfilled when I am able to help make life a bit better for someone who is in serious need.
I have been married to my incredible wife, Megan, for more than 20 years and we have been blessed with four fabulous children – two girls and two boys. Like most parents, my life consists largely of working and chasing kids from one activity to the next – I must say, I thoroughly enjoy nearly every moment of it.
In addition to focusing on my family, I think it is really important to be fully engaged in my community. I served on the Board of Trustees at The Orchard School for six years, and as Chair for two years. I have been very involved with the Orchard in Bloom garden show, which benefits Holliday Park, and have served as its Chair. I have served as a Board Member of the Indianapolis Racers Travel Hockey Association, and I regularly provide financial support to youth hockey in Indianapolis. I also financially support and coach youth basketball at First Baptist and baseball at Broad Ripple Haverford Little League. I have served as a Board Member of the Junto of Indianapolis, and I have served on the Board of the Indianapolis Bar Association. My family and I regularly support numerous local causes and charities, and we founded the Caress Family Foundation in 2011 in an effort to further help children in need.
