This involved reviewing case files, sending subpoenas, meeting with defense counsel, negotiating cases and presenting offers, interviewing victims and witnesses, preparing officers and experts for trial, preparing all trial materials, and writing trial briefs. Work in District Court included doing all matters, including; arraignments, pleas, dispositions, review hearings, probation review hearings, arguing motions, and appearing on contested hearings for infractions. File cases, including researching potential issues with confessions and statements given, searches, seizures, and restitution. Appearing in other courts as needed in the office, including Juvenile and Superior Courts, and attending task force meetings with officers.
