- Prior to joining Ropes Gray in 2007, Soo was an analyst at an IP consulting firm. She conducted freedom-to-operate searches and researched prior art regarding patent infringement in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Her work also included strategic consulting based upon IP landscape reviews. Soo received a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where she studied the regulatory mechanism of TNF-alpha convertase (TACE), a major proinflammatory enzyme.
