Shuba regularly represents secured and unsecured creditors, official and ad hoc committees, corporations and other interested parties in cases filed under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code or in out of court restructurings. Prior to joining Ropes Gray, Shuba assisted in representing the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Delta Air Lines, Inc., ad hoc committee of high yield bondholders of Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. and Calgary-based coal bed methane company in closing Cdn$120 million financing. Prior to joining Ropes Gray, Shuba was counsel at a large firm in New York City.
