Scott Reichle
Patent Attorney, Intellectual Property and Litigation
I enjoy working with individual inventors as well as businesses. I engage in a broad practice including intellectual property, litigation, whistleblower actions and zoning and land use.
I am a Licensed Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Also, I have been licensed to practice law by the Commonwealth of Virginia since 1996. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1989 and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration course in environmental engineering from Old Dominion University in 1993. I also graduated magna cum laude from Loyola School of Law in 1996. While at Loyola, I served as an editor on the Law Review.
In addition, I am a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a former professor at the Batten College of Engineering and Technology at Old Dominion University (ODU). While at ODU, I taught a wide range of engineering courses and actively engaged in research and scholarly publication.
