: Current; Sarah specializes in providing regulatory, legislative, advocacy, and compliance assistance to national associations, public and non-profit hospitals, and other health care providers and suppliers in issues related to health law, financing, and policy. She assists clients in compliance with other federal health program requirements under Medicaid, Medicare, the 340B discount pharmaceutical program, the 1011 reimbursement program for emergency health services, and other federal health programs. She has particular experience advising clients on Medicaid policy, financing and reimbursement issues, including related to supplemental Medicaid payments. Sarah provides legislative advocacy assistance on policy issues of importance to safety net hospital providers and to associations representing a range of suppliers, and has assisted clients in requesting dedicated federal appropriations. Sarah has also assisted in representing hospital client interests in reimbursement-related matters before the Department of Health and Human Services Departmental Appeals Board and in federal judicial litigation. Prior to practicing law, Sarah worked as a consultant specializing in market research and sales force analysis for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
