Ms. Spletzer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 1994, and is a graduate of Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, where she attended school in the evening division while working full time in the Labor & Employment department of the Philadelphia law firm of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Spletzer became an associate with Obermayer, specializing in labor and employment issues, including extensive practice before state and federal equal employment opportunity agencies. Ms. Spletzer has also worked in business and family immigration and Consumer Product Safety Commission-based product recalls. Ms. Spletzer has also provided pro bono services for the Homeless Advocacy Project.
