His honors include: Articles Editor, St. Mary's Law Journal (1993-94); Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity (1991-94); and Recipient, American Jurisprudence Award for Creditors Rights and Bankruptcy (1993).

On January 21, 2011, Mr. Berry successfully preserved the asset-protection rights of a consumer bankruptcy client in a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. See Camp v.
