Professional Experience

: Current; For over 25 years, Rob has served as an advisor, legal counsel and trustee for high net worth individuals, families who undertake generational planning, senior executives of private and public companies and other clients of established wealth. He works closely with clients to provide strategic advice on estate and trust planning, and also financial and investment planning, including appropriate tax alternatives to meet their goals. Rob’s practice also includes the organization and administration of comprehensive arrangements for families. His experience in this area comes from extensive work with different generational levels of many families, and his work covers varied responsibilities ranging from financial planning advice and the organization of investments to the oversight of clients’ employees and caregivers and provision for the educational priorities of clients’ children and grandchildren. Rob’s practice also includes establishing and administering family foundations and philanthropic initiatives. He advises, as well, numerous cultural institutions, development offices of schools and universities, and other non-profit organizations on planned-giving matters. Given his strong commitment to education in the broadest sense, Rob serves on the boards of educational and cultural institutions and also serves as independent counsel for several of them.
