Rachel Wright Hill

I served Fresno County as a prosecutor for more than 10 years, while there I developed a reputation for excellence, integrity, and grit. After initially prosecuting misdemeanor and juvenile cases, and being assigned as the prosecutor in the cities of Selma and Coalinga, I prosecuted cases while on various felony trial teams, including specialty fraud and domestic violence teams. I prosecuted armed robbery, burglary, auto theft, fraud, narcotics trafficking, serious assaults, terrorist threats, domestic violence and homicide cases, among others. My strong desire for professional growth, and equitable justice lead me to criminal defense. I’ve successfully defended clients for more than six years in both state and federal courts. My balanced criminal law experience enabled me to serve as an adjunct law professor at the San Joaquin College of Law, and as an instructor at Fresno City College, teaching Constitutional Law and Legal Ethics, Criminal Law, and Juvenile Justice. Today, I use my legal experience to represent people who are accused of crimes in California courts and in all Federal courts. I handle all types of criminal cases, including white collar crimes, drug crimes, crimes of violence, and other criminal matters. I also represent people who are being investigated for crimes but have not yet been charged with a crime. For those persons who are charged with or convicted of a crime and who hold a professional license, such as physicians, attorneys, nurses and others, I also handle the administrative matters regarding licensing penalties. My goal is to provide representation to clients in the manner I'd want to receive if I, or a family member were sitting in the client chair. This means not rushing clients through meetings and making sure the client gets his or her questions answered completely.
