- Activities: Peter is a member of the American, New York State, and Monroe County (NY) bar associations, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Albany Law School National Alumni Association. Peter serves as secretary for the NYSBA Commercial Litigation Sections Appellate Practice subcommittee. Peter is a member of the ABA Space and Law Section. Peter also participates in the American Inns of Court and has served as a mentor for the Lawyers for Learning program and is a member of the Armed Forces Day committee. Peter serves as a counsel for the AOPA Legal Services. Published Cases Aquavella v. Viola, 39 A.D. 3d 1191 (N.Y. Supreme Court - Appellate Division, Fourth Department, 2007) (reversing the Supreme Court and reinstating plaintiff's complaint alleging defendant's breach of an employment agreement's restrictive covenant and misappropriation of confidential information). Burgess v. Harris Beach, et al., 07-cv-6281, 2008 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 25166 (W.D.N.Y. 2008) (dismissing, in its entirety, plaintiff's complaint, which alleged numerous claims against defendant school district, among others, for retaliatory and tortious acts allegedly in violation of the U.S. Constitution, federal statutes, and state law).
