: Current; Peter frequently represents clients in state and federal court proceedings, in labor negotiations and arbitrations, and in hearings before federal administrative agencies including the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as the numerous parallel state agencies. Peter also provides day-to-day advice to clients on the full range of issues facing employers, including employee privacy, disciplinary actions, compliance with state and federal discrimination laws, wage and hour compliance, and obligations under the Family and Medical Leave Act. In addition, Peter regularly advises clients and represents their interests before various agencies responsible for regulating potential conflicts of interest by government workers and private individuals doing business with state agencies, the conduct of political campaigns, and lobbying activity. Peter is a frequent speaker on employment issues and also provides on-site training for employers on topics such as sexual harassment and hiring and firing practices.
