Nick and I worked together at the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia where he was the Manager of the General Civil Litigation & Trial Unit. He and I are now in private practice where we specialize in different areas of the law.

I was lead counsel in a case involving a state entity that faced a substantial challenge to its legal standing in a lawsuit filed against a Virginia resident. An adverse ruling would have caused widespread implications for how our client conducted its business and legal affairs. With Nick's guidance in drafting and reviewing the motions and briefs, we prevailed on the issue.

Nick and I worked together on a few matters during the years of 2013-2016. Anytime I had a complex civil litigation matter, Nick was always the go-to lawyer in the Attorney General's Office for advice, guidance and mentorship.

Nick's legal knowledge is extensive and is built upon his years of experience as a Law Clerk, Assistant City Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, Professor of Law and now Managing Partner at a top-tier law firm dedicated to civil rights, education law, and employment law matters. I have personally sought Nick's advice on a number of occasions, most recently in a case involving questions of Federal Civil Procedure.

Nick's ability to analyze legal issues is in-part why other lawyers seek out his advice and guidance. He has personally provided my law firm with letter opinions and memoranda of law particularly in our federal cases.
